What is the XP Calculator?
The XP Calculator on Idle Clans Hub is a skill planning tool that calculates how many actions, resources, and time you need to reach a target level in any skill. Rather than guessing how far away your next milestone is, the calculator gives you precise numbers based on your current level and XP.
Loading Your Profile
To get personalised results, enter your Idle Clans username in the search field on the Calculator page and click "Load Profile." The calculator will fetch your current skill levels from the game's API and pre-populate your starting point for each skill. This means you do not need to manually enter your current XP - it is loaded automatically.
If you have recently looked up your profile on the Search page, the Calculator may automatically pre-load your username from your search history, saving you an extra step.
Selecting a Skill
Once your profile is loaded, select any skill from the skill list. The calculator displays your current level, current XP, and XP required to reach each subsequent level milestone. You can set a target level and the calculator will display the total XP difference, estimated number of actions needed, and approximate time to completion based on default action speeds.
Reading the Results
The calculator output shows:
- XP to next level: How close you are to your immediate next level
- XP to target level: Total XP gap between your current level and your chosen target
- Actions required: How many individual skill actions you need to perform
- Resources needed: The materials you will consume to complete those actions

- Session planning: Calculate exactly how many logs you need to chop to reach Woodcutting 50 before your next login
- Resource estimation: Find out how much ore to stockpile before starting a Smithing level push
- Goal setting: Identify which skill is closest to a meaningful milestone and prioritise it for your next idle session
